Journeys Teens with puppetsThe Dream Weavers gather in Suite 128 at 10:30 on Sundays in the Teen Room. The purpose of this group is to foster fun, friendship, and community service facilitating self-discovery, self-confidence, and spiritual growth/inquiry within a safe and supportive peer group. The Dream Weavers are self-run by the teens while operating under the guidance of Adult Advocates. The group elects officers and runs its own class business.

Each Sunday the Dream Weavers participate in activities encouraging them to support one another and others in the community. They get to know each other through dialogue and trust-building activities and spend time in various forms of group meditation and enjoy socializing. They organize themselves to achieve goals and ponder questions that encourage philosophical thinking, spiritual discussion, and self-discovery.

Dream Weaver TeensDream Weavers participate in social activities including retreats, group movies, and other fun outings. Another focus of the class is community service for the Raleigh community and also within the Journeys community. Additionally, the Dream Weavers are able to meet with other teens from the east coast and around the country by attending youth camp. Creative and age-appropriate fund-raising activities allow this group to visualize and manifest their social activity and youth retreat and camp goals.
